NIC Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, developed ‘GoKullu’ Mobile App helps the District Administration to track the movement of trekkers in the tough geographic conditions of the district and locate them during any distress.
The trekker has to register on the app. The trekking routes are mentioned in the app. The user/Trekker has to select the Trek and click on the button. He has to keep his GPS in ON position. The app will send his latitude & longitude which will help the district administration to track his location in case of any emergency.
