Alwar is a city in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. Alwar City Palace, from 1793, blends architectural styles and has marble pavilions on lotus-shaped bases in its courtyard, plus a museum with rare manuscripts. It’s next to the marble and sandstone Moosi Maharani Chhatri shrine. A steep path leads to the Bala Qila fort, with marble pillars and latticed balconies. Sariska Tiger Reserve lies southwest of Alwar.

NIC has developed –Alwar Tourism App which provides detailed information about various tourist spots, historical forts, palaces, art and culture in the Alwar District of Rajasthan. This app serves as a platform for tourists to find information on cities and provinces, and understanding of the culture, customs, traditional knowledge and beliefs of the District. It is a initiative under Digital India Programme.

Alwar Tourism an android native app that will provide basic details of tourist spots in Alwar district along with the pictures of the spots. It is online tourism information system which is travel for recreational leisure, family or business purposes. Tourism has numerous tangible and intangible elements. Major tangible elements include transportation, accommodation and other components of a hospital industry. Major intangible elements relate to the purpose or motivation for becoming a tourist, such as rest, relaxation, the opportunity to meet new people and experience other cultures or simply to do something different and have an adventure. It attracts tourists for its historical forts, palaces, art and culture.
